Frequently Asked Questions
How to Tell When Your Systems Need Expert Service
How do I know if I have a hidden slab leak?
If you notice a sudden drop in water pressure, unexpected warm spots on your flooring, the sound of running water when all faucets are off, or a sudden spike in your water bill, you likely have an underground slab leak. We use advanced acoustic and thermal leak detection equipment to pinpoint the exact location without tearing up your property.
When should I repair vs. replace my furnace?
If your furnace is under 15 years old and the repair costs less than 50% of its value, a fix is usually best. However, if you notice yellow burner flames (instead of blue), frequent cycling, or if your heating bills are climbing significantly, it’s a sign the heat exchanger or components are failing. We can inspect the system for free to see if a high-efficiency upgrade makes better financial sense.
Why is my AC blowing air but not cooling the house?
This is typically caused by a clogged air filter restricting airflow, a failed capacitor blocking the outdoor compressor from starting, or a refrigerant leak. Running an AC with a low refrigerant charge can destroy the compressor, so it’s best to shut the system down and call us immediately for a professional evaluation.
What is the difference between rooting a drain and Hydro Jetting?
Standard snaking/rooting just punches a temporary hole through a clog to get water moving. Hydro Jetting uses specialized, ultra-high-pressure water streams to scrub the pipe walls entirely clean of grease, scale, and heavy root intrusions. It restores old pipes back to like-new interior condition.
